Malibu Dreams:

Whether a local or tourist, who among us hasn’t imagined picturesque long walks on California’s iconic beaches. Malibu is more than just a place for dreamy walks up and down its spectacular beaches. Here are our some of our favorite things to do in Malibu!

Surf:
It’s hard not to think of the Beach Boys when thinking abut surfing. The beauty of surfing is that it isn’t just one thing. It can be a solo experience or something fun to do with your best friends. You can surf for the soul or you can surf for the body. It can be a sport or a form of meditation. For whatever reason you surf we can all agree that Malibu is one of the finest places to surf. If surfing isn’t your thing just yet, paddle boarding is also a favorite.

Malibu Creek State Park:
If you are looking for a beautiful scenic hike Malibu Creek is my go to. With trails both easy and advanced, it’s the perfect spot for solo adventures or an outing with the whole family. Film buffs will love spotting the locations of hit shows M.A.S.H, Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid, Roots and more!

Lunch at Malibu Farms:
Malibu pier is just classic. There is something about walking past the fishers, locals and tourists that makes you feel as if you are living in a retro postcard. Aside from browsing the cute shops, there is Malibu Farms, one of the loveliest places you can grab a bite to eat. It boasts a menu with something for everyone and promises to never disappoint.

Malibu Market:
If you’ve already hit Malibu Farms on your last visit to Malibu, then be sure to swing by Malibu County Mart. If you are visiting around Thanksgiving, I highly recommend their seasonal thanksgiving dinner inspired sandwich.

Point Mugu:
While beautiful at any hour, sunset into the twilight hour is probably my favorite. With a view of the stars and the crashing sound of the waves, Point Mugu is the perfect stop on a romantic Malibu date night.
